Funded by The Research Corporation for the Advancement of Science, the award includes a $35,000 grant to further her research and to support the inclusion of research opportunities for undergraduates in her work. Barrios-Landeros was selected for a paper titled, "Copper- and Palladium-Promoted Aromatic Acyloxylation."
