Dr. Gabriel Cwilich, professor of physics and director of the at , spent the summer conducting research as a visiting researcher at the Donostia International Physics Center in Gipuzkoa, Spain.
He also attended and spoke at two conferences. At META 2016, the International Conference in Metamaterials in Torremolinos, Spain, he gave an invited talk titled, “Everything is connected with everything: Can the study and tools of complex network theory tell us something about mesoscopic physics?”
At the Complex Networks workshop, in Marseille, France, he presented the results of his joint research with 鶹ýӳ and Columbia University undergraduate student Steven Lowinger and Dr. Sergey Buldyrev, professor of physics at 鶹ýӳ, titled “Interdependent Lattice Networks in High Dimensions.”
