Dr. Jeffrey Gurock, Libby M. Klaperman Professor of Jewish History, has just published (Michael Scharf Publication Trust of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Press and The Toby Press).
The book collects nine essays that examine the challenges of sports to American Judaism and the varied responses of the American community toward accommodating that secular force and integrating it into religious life.
