Yeshiva Among Best Values in Private Colleges

鶹ýӳ Named a 2016 Best Private College by Բ’s Based on Academic Quality and Affordability Բ’s Personal Finance has included 鶹ýӳ on its list of the country’s . Բ’s annual list highlights 300 public schools, private universities and private liberal arts colleges and ranks the top 100 in each category. The complete rankings will appear in Բ’s February issue—on newsstands January 5. 鶹ýӳ came in at number 32 on the private universities list. 鶹ýӳ and the other schools included in the 2016 lists represent the colleges that provide high-quality academics at a reasonable cost. The colleges exemplify the attributes parents and students look for in higher education, including a favorable student-faculty ratio, a good freshman retention rate and a high four-year graduation rate. “We are proud to be ranked by Բ’s as one of the best value colleges in North America,” said Rabbi Kenneth Brander, vice president for university and community life at 鶹ýӳ. “Our faculty, deans, roshei yeshiva, guidance, advisement and student life professionals are committed to engaging with our students to ensure success in their academic, Torah  and social experiences as undergraduates at 鶹ýӳ." Kiplinger assesses value by measurable standards of academic quality and affordability. Quality measures include the admission rate, the percentage of students who return for sophomore year, the student-faculty ratio and four-year graduation rate. Cost criteria include sticker price, financial aid and average debt at graduation.
