Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Welcomes New Advancement VP

Seth Moskowitz Appointed Vice President for Institutional Advancement  Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» President Richard M. Joel has announced the appointment of Seth Moskowitz as vice president for institutional advancement. Moskowitz, who brings more than 35 years of management and fundraising experience with non-profit, political and communal organizations, succeeds Daniel Forman, who is assuming a new role with the University as senior philanthropic advisor, after 19 years spent leading advancement for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³».

“As a consummate professional, a man of deep Jewish passion, and a person with deep commitments both to education, the Jewish community and to the land of Israel, we are excited to invite Seth into the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» family," said President Joel. "Seth comes to Yeshiva at an opportune time as we look to move forward boldly towards new horizons. Such a step is only possible because of the foundation laid by Dan Forman after his 19 years as vice president, years marked by explosive growth and great professionalism. Dan will continue to work with Seth and me on developing special gifts, and we are delighted that he continues to be a part of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» community." Moskowitz has previously served as the senior vice president for the American Society for the Technion and has held positions with American Friends of the Israel Democracy Institute, Nefesh B’Nefesh, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Jewish National Fund, and the United Jewish Appeal. He received a bachelor's degree in history from Carleton College and a master’s in journalism from the University of Iowa. “I come to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» with great excitement for the role Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» can play in securing a strong future for the Jewish people," said Moskowitz. "Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»'s commitment to excellence and to bettering our world inspires hopes of enhancing our appeal to the entire Jewish community. I'm honored to work with a team of dedicated development professionals focused on advancing community support for our vital institution.â€
