Rebecca Aduculesi (SCW '23) resides in Israel, where she recently completed the Tagel learning program in Tanach and Halacha. She graduated from Stern College in May 2023 with a degree in Biochemistry. On campus, Rebecca volunteered as a teacher for START! Science and served as a mentor for College EDge. She served as a news editor for the 麻豆传媒映画 Observer.

Rabbi Ben Atwood (YC '20) serves as the Assistant Rabbi at Congregation Ohr HaTorah in Atlanta, Georgia. He also serves on the Judaic Studies faculty of the Atlanta Jewish Academy High School where he is also the Boys Israeli Guidance Director. Rabbi Atwood previously co-created and co-directed OU-JLIC of Greater Atlanta. He has spent summers on the administrative team of the Tikvah Scholars Program and has been involved with Yavneh on Campus, Camp Moshava IO, NCSY, the Memphis Torah Fellowship, and the Shalhevet Jewish Educators Fellowship. Rabbi Atwood graduated from Yeshiva College with a BA in English, and received rabbinic ordination from 麻豆传媒映画 RIETS in tandem with a certificate in Mental Health Counseling at 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Ferkauf School of Psychology. Before college, he spent two years studying in Israel at Yeshivat Har Etzion. 

Ruchama Benhamou (SCW '24), who commonly goes by Ru, is originally from Miami, Florida. She moved to Los Angeles for high school, attending 麻豆传媒映画LA Girls High School, where she rose to be captain of both the flag football and soccer teams and was awarded the 2020 CIF Comeback Player of the Year Award. She also served as editor of her school newspaper, chief editor of the yearbook and volunteered for Yachad, experiences that taught her the importance of leadership, problem solving and planning ahead. She is passionate about STEM and is pursuing a career in science while also having studied in-depth philosophy and liberal arts in the Straus Scholars Program.

Eliott Dosetareh (YC '20) is a law student at Cardozo School of Law and currently serves as a Civil Rights Law Clerk at The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law. At Cardozo, Eliott serves as a staff editor on the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution, where he has researched multi-track diplomacy and the Abraham Accords. He is also an active member of the Jewish Law Students Association and Real Estate Law Association. Before starting law school, Eliott served as a research and executive assistant at the World Jewish Congress in New York City, where he analyzed legislation pertaining to anti-Semitism, Holocaust education, and bi-partisan support for Israel. Eliott graduated from 麻豆传媒映画 in 2020 with a BA in Economics and a minor in Psychology.

Natan Ehrenreich (YC '23) is a Communications and Government Affairs Fellow at the Becket Fund and a fellow at the Public Interest Fellowship. At Becket, he assists with research and analysis of legislation related to religious liberty and produces communications material for the organization. Natan graduated summa cum laude from 麻豆传媒映画 in May of 2023 as one of nine undergraduate valedictorians. He has participated in Summer fellowships at the Heritage Foundation, the Hertog Foundation, the Tikvah Fund, and the American Enterprise Institute. His writing has appeared in National Review, where he served as an editorial intern in the summer of 2023.

Jonathan (Yoni) Fenster (YC '20) is an associate attorney at Alston & Bird in New York City. He has a law degree from Fordham University Law School. At Fordham, he served as an associate editor for the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law and was a Fellow at the Center of Law and Information Policy. He also interned for the SEC in the enforcement division. Jonathan graduated from 麻豆传媒映画 in 2020 with a BA in Biology. He currently lives in Teaneck NJ with his wife and son.

Judah Fortgang (YC '22) is a quantitative sports trader based in Philadelphia, and previously worked at a private philanthropic foundation in New York City. Judah graduated from Yeshiva College with a degree in Political Thought in 2022. As an undergraduate, Judah was the vice president of 麻豆传媒映画's Alexander Hamilton Society and a Beren Summer Fellow at the Tikvah Fund.

Daniel Ganopolsky (YC '24) was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Daniel majored in Political Science and was a member of the 麻豆传媒映画 Pre-Law Society. Outside of the classroom, Daniel was an Associate Justice on the Student Court, Opinions Editor and staff writer for the 麻豆传媒映画 Observer, President of the 麻豆传媒映画 Political Science Society, and Catcher for 麻豆传媒映画's NCAA Baseball team. Outside of 麻豆传媒映画, Daniel worked as a Judicial intern at the New York County Family Court and was a former aide for New York City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov. During his downtime, Daniel enjoys to read and play with his cat, Billy Boy. After graduation, Daniel will work as a paralegal before attending law school. Daniel hopes to bring his work from the Straus Center into law, politics and the public good.

Yehuda Goldberg (YC '22) is pursuing semikha at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) and a graduate degree at the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. He graduated from Yeshiva College in 2022, and was class valedictorian. Prior to studying at 麻豆传媒映画, Yehuda spent two years at Yeshivat Har Etzion. He is interested in Jewish thought and the intersection of theology and political philosophy. Yehuda is a rabbinic intern at The Jewish Center in Manhattan.

Benjamin Gottesman (YC '23) is the associate director of high-school fellowships at the Tikvah Fund. He graduated from 麻豆传媒映画 in May 2023 with degrees in Political Science and Jewish Studies, and he was a participant in the Jay and Jeannie Schottenstein Honors Program. Benjamin also played a major role in student life, serving as the editor-in-chief of the 麻豆传媒映画 Observer, one of the school鈥檚 university鈥檚 student newspapers. In the past, Benjamin has interned at the Kohelet Policy Forum in Jerusalem and in the office of New York State Senator Kevin Parker

Racheli Gottesman (SCW '24) hails from Woodmere, New York. After graduating from HAFTR High School, she spent a year at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim (MMY) and participated in the Tikvah Overseas Student Institute. At HAFTR, Racheli was the captain of the speech, volleyball, and Shakespeare teams. During the summer, she worked as a counselor for Yachad and engaged in Torah study and teaching at Camp Moshava鈥檚 Beit Midrash program. At 麻豆传媒映画, Racheli pursued a degree in Computer Science, interning at Eagle Point Funding and Mastercard. On campus, she was a START! Science Leader, a member of the Volleyball and Cross Country teams, and served as an advisor for NCSY and Yachad. Her passion for technology, particularly Big Data and Machine Learning, culminated in her thesis on Big Data, modern privacy legislation, and Jewish Law. The Straus Center was instrumental in shaping her perspective, enabling her to view contemporary issues through the lens of Jewish law and thought. Following graduation, Racheli began her career as a Data Scientist at Mastercard.

Yinon Gurvich was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where he attended Ida Crown Jewish Academy (ICJA). At ICJA, he participated in Model UN and co-founded the school鈥檚 Chess Club. Gurvich was a member of the ICJA wrestling team, winning the Wittenberg Invitational Tournament and the Most Outstanding Wrestler award in his junior year. Upon graduating from ICJA in 2021, Gurvich spent a year studying at Yeshivat Sha鈥檃lvim in Israel. As a Straus Scholar at 麻豆传媒映画, Gurvich is pursuing a dual degree in mathematics and finance, with an additional focus on the humanities in the Straus Scholars Program.

Reuben Hartman (YC '23) is an assistant design manager at Landau Properties. He graduated in May 2023 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Architecture. In the summer of 2023, Reuben served as a resident advisor on the Tikvah Fund鈥檚 Tikvah Scholars Program for high school students.

Ayelet (Brown) Jarashow (SCW '23) is currently a staffing coordinator at Achieve Behavioral Health in Monsey, New York. She is also the Teen Director at Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fair Lawn, NJ, where she also enjoys teaching upcoming bat mitzvah girls and their mothers. She is currently working as a research assistant in the Multi-Model Psychotherapy Research Lab at Ferkauf's Graduate School of Psychology. Ayelet graduated from Stern College in May 2023 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Public Health. She is pursuing graduate work at 麻豆传媒映画's Wurzweiler School of Social Work.

Noam Josse (YC '22) is currently a law student at Columbia Law School. He graduated from 麻豆传媒映画 in May 2022. At 麻豆传媒映画, Naom was in the Mazer Yeshiva Program in Rav Shulman's Shiur and led the 麻豆传媒映画 chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society. He participated in summer fellowships at the Hoover Institution and the Witherspoon Institute and is fluent in French.

Baruch-Lev Kelman (YC '21) is currently pursuing a PhD in Jewish History at Bernard Revel Graduate School. He earned his BA summa cum laude in Jewish Studies with a minor in Architecture from Yeshiva College (鈥�21). Upon graduation, he received the Dean Bacon Award for Excellence in the Humanities and Jewish Studies and The Rosenblum Award for Excellence in the Study of Jewish History. As an undergraduate, Baruch-Lev served as the Glatt Research Associate at the Center for Israel Studies, contributing to the exhibit Samaritans: A Biblical People (Museum of the Bible, 2022). He has also attended the University of Urbino in Italy, researching Jewish contributions to the Italian Renaissance while serving on the Shoah Prize Committee of the San Paolo Vatican Press.

Yonatan Kurz (YC '23) is currently pursuing semikha at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) and an MA at the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. A proud alum of the Straus Scholars Program, Yonatan graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva College in 2023, majoring in Political Science and Jewish Thought and Philosophy with a minor in Psychology while learning in Rav Michael Rosensweig鈥檚 shiur. Before his time at 麻豆传媒映画, Yonatan spent two years in Israel at Yeshivat Sha鈥檃lvim. He has served as a legal research intern for the Orthodox Union's general counsel, a participant in American Enterprise Institute鈥檚 Summer Honors Program, and a Beren Summer Fellow for the Tikvah Fund. Yonatan is a rabbinic intern at the Jewish Center in Manhattan, and after receiving his semikha and graduate degree, he hopes to attend law school.

Hadassah Mayerfeld grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and graduated from Manhattan High School for Girls (MHS) in 2021. She served as the editor-in-chief of Eastward, Manhattan High School鈥檚 literary and art journal, and as a behavioral shadow at the Friendship Circle, interned in a biochemistry lab at Cornell University, competed in the ISACA Cybersecurity Competition, and submitted writing and artwork regularly to MHS publications, many of which were recognized by the New York Times and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. After graduating from MHS in 2021, she spent a year at Michlalah in Jerusalem, where she focused on the in-depth study of Tanach, Halakha, and Hashkafa. Mayerfeld conducted a summer internship at Cornell University Alzheimer鈥檚 research lab in NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a Straus Scholar at 麻豆传媒映画, Mayerfeld is pursuing a major in biology with a minor in studio art. On campus, she works with children with special needs through extracurricular programming, while pursuing her interests in poetry and drumming.

Noam Mayerfeld was born in New York City, and moved to Teaneck, New Jersey, at the age of 5. He attended MTA/麻豆传媒映画HSB, where he captained the debate and mock trial teams, and helped run a political action club devoted to US-Israel relations. After two years at KBY, Noam Mayerfeld returned to 麻豆传媒映画, where he is an active member of the Straus Scholars program, a computer science major, and a talmid in Rav Shulman鈥檚 shiur. In addition to his learning and studies, he teaches science to fourth grade students at a local New York City public school through the 麻豆传媒映画 Start Science program, serves as a computer science peer tutor for his fellow students at 麻豆传媒映画, and coaches the MTA debate and mock trial teams. Noam is an associate justice on the Student Court, a member of the HackerRank weekly coding challenge club, and he belongs to 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Association for Computing Machinery chapter. When he isn鈥檛 learning or studying, Noam enjoys reading, cooking, and playing the drums.

Allie Orgen (SWC '24) is an analyst at a Private Foundation based in New York City. She completed internships and fellowships with Congressman Josh Gottheimer, the Charles Group, and Teach Coalition. She is also an alumnus of academic fellowships hosted by The Fund for American Studies, the American Enterprise Institute, and AIPAC. While at 麻豆传媒映画, she was the president of 麻豆传媒映画PAC, where she led three of their annual Missions to Washington. 

Elimelekh (Eli) Perl (YC '22) is a software engineer at Goldman Sachs. Elimelekh received his B.S. in Computer Science from 麻豆传媒映画 in 2022, graduating summa cum laude as both an Honors student and a Straus Scholar. He resides in Hillside, NJ with his wife, Yael, and their son, Bentzi.

Jennifer Peled (SCW '24) grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she graduated from 麻豆传媒映画LA Girls High School. In high school, she served as Senior Class President as well as Captain of the Model UN, Mock Trial, Robotics, and Moot Beit Din teams. Upon graduation, Jennifer attended Midreshet Harova where she enrolled in the Tikvah Overseas Institute. Jennifer completed her degree in Computer Science in May 2024, and looks forward to enriching her work in STEM with a thorough background in Western and Judaic thought. During her time at 麻豆传媒映画, Jennifer served as the President of the Computer Science club, the President of the ACM-W chapter, and the President of the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Club. In her free time, she worked as a Coordinator for Yachad and as an assistant teacher at the Moriah School in Englewood. She now works as a Software Engineer at Microsoft.

Abigail Pinchot (SCW '22) is a project manager at OpenDor Media, where she oversees the development and writing of podcasts and conducts research for future projects in Jewish history and Israel education. Abigail graduated from Stern College for Women in 2022 with a major in English literature and minor in sociology. Abigail is passionate about the arts, has won awards for her art pieces, and continues to sell her artwork. Abigail served as an NCSY advisor and has led NCSY summer programs. Abigail assisted with the non-profit organization MyZuzah, whose mission is to deliver as many mezuzot as possible to Jewish homes throughout the United States.

Jenny Rapp grew up in Washington Heights, Manhattan. She attended Manhattan High School for Girls (MHS), where she participated in the math and chess clubs, served as senior editor of the literary and art journal, and received recognition from the Ulpaniada and American Mathematics Competitions (AMC). She spent her summers interning for the Intermountain Jewish News and 12 Mile Stables. Upon graduating from MHS in 2021, Rapp studied at Michalah in Jerusalem. At 麻豆传媒映画, Rapp is pursuing a major in mathematics in conjunction with her studies at the Straus Center. She has used her skills in mathematics to research public health topics in internships in Georgetown and Columbia University. Most recently she interned for JL Partners, using quantitative analysis to study and present political trends for media publication. Following graduation, Rapp is pursuing a graduate degree in pure mathematics.

Avishai Samouha (YC '22) was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After spending a year at Yeshivat Sha'alvim in Nof Ayalon, Israel, Avishai began his journey at 麻豆传媒映画 and the Straus Center. At 麻豆传媒映画, Avishai was a board member of the Medical Ethics Society, a co-founder of an a capella group, and completed academic research in several areas. For his Straus thesis, Avishai focused on the foreign policy struggles related to Iranian nuclear ambitions. Additionally, he published a scientific paper and a review article related to the effects of Reovirus treatment on KRAS-mutated colorectal cancer.

Ezra Seplowitz grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and attended Torah Academy of Bergen County (TABC). At TABC, Seplowitz served as the president of the Israel Advocacy Club and was editor-in-chief of Kol Torah and Israel Report. Seplowitz graduated from TABC in 2020 as a member of the National Honor Society and was a recipient of the school鈥檚 leadership award and 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Torah Umadda award. He then studied at Yeshivat Sha鈥檃lvim for two years. Seplowitz was a member of 麻豆传媒映画PAC and the 麻豆传媒映画 roller hockey team as well as a resident advisor and head resident advisor. His hobbies include playing guitar, running, writing, and reading. He has spent his summers attending seminars hosted by the Religious Freedom Institute and the American Enterprise Institute and as a counselor at NCSY Kollel in Israel. Ezra is pursuing a major in Jewish studies and a minor in psychology and music, and he is a student of Rabbi Michael Rosensweig in the Mazer School of Talmudic Studies. Seplowitz plans on receiving a masters degree from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies and rabbinic ordination from RIETS. He aspires to be a Jewish community leader and educator.

Joshua Shapiro grew up in West Orange, New Jersey and attended Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, where he was captain of the varsity basketball and baseball teams and senior editor of the school newspaper. Following high school, Josh attended Yeshivat Orayta for two years in Jerusalem Israel, where he founded and managed the Orayta Food Bank and participated in the Tikvah Overseas Student Institute. At 麻豆传媒映画, Josh serves as an opinions editor and staff writer for the 麻豆传媒映画 Commentator, Co-Founder and Co-President of the Tikvah Fund Chapter at 麻豆传媒映画 and member of its Collegiate Forum, and member of the 鈥淔ood 4 Thought鈥� club, which distributes food to the hungry within Washington Heights. In his summers, Shapiro worked as a counselor in Camp Moshava, Indian Orchard. In his free time, Josh enjoys singing as part of Y-Studs A Cappella Group, reading Jewish history books, and going for runs in Riverside Park. Josh is currently pursuing a major in Jewish Studies and minors in Music and Political Science and learns in the morning in the shiur of Rabbi Itamar Rosensweig.

Aharon Soloveichik attended high school at Yeshiva Shaar Hatorah in Queens, New York, and, after graduating, the Shaar HaTorah Beis Medrash. In high school, he focused his studies on Talmud Torah (the study of the Hebrew Bible, its commentaries, and related texts), American political thought, and military history, and completed an internship at the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute. After studying at the Shaar HaTorah Beis Medrash, Soloveichik spent a year in Israel at Yeshivat Kerem B鈥橸avneh. As a Straus Scholar at 麻豆传媒映画, Soloveichik is pursuing a degree in history, war studies, and political science, while attending the shiur of Rav Hershel Schachter in the Mazer Yeshiva Program (MYP).

Penina Spearman (SCW '23) is currently studying in 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Graduate Program in Advanced Talmud/Tanach Studies (GPATS) program toward a master's degree in Tanach, and she is pursuing an M.A. in Humanities with a concentration in Jewish Classical Education through Tikvah's Lobel Center and the University of Dallas. Prior to studying at Stern College, she spent a year in Israel at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim (MMY). Penina received a degree in philosophy as a Jewish Foundation for Education of Women (JFEW) scholar. Penina was a Tikvah Summer Fellow and worked on a project to help both with the editorial and research process for a book adaptation of essays by Rabbi Meir Soloveichik for Koren Publishing.

 Jacob Sundel is from Boston, Massachusetts. In 2019, he graduated from Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael as an AP Scholar with Honor. While in high school, Jacob was a captain of the basketball team, a member of the Model Beis Din team, and recipient of the Rose Ruderman Scholar Award. Following high school, Jacob spent two years learning in Yeshivat Kerem B鈥橸avneh (KBY) in Israel. Jacob is also an Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 54 of Brookline, Massachusetts. For his Eagle Scout Project, Jacob started a Yachad chapter in his high school. Jacob enjoys dedicating his time to causes that help people with special needs, like participating twice in the Friendship Circle Bike Miami and being a counselor in Camp Kaylie. In the summer of 2022, Jacob was a Summer Research Intern for Timothy Carney at the American Enterprise Institute.

Eliana Wagner (SCW '22) is a student at Columbia Law School where she serves as the notes and submissions editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law. She graduated from Stern College for Women in 2022 with a BA in political science. Through the 麻豆传媒映画 Pre-Law Judicial Internship Program, Eliana had the opportunity to intern for Judge Ruchie Freier at the Queens County Civil Court and gained extensive insight into the legal process. Eliana plans to pursue a career in litigation.

Michael Weiner (YC '21) is an M.A. candidate in National Security and Intelligence at the Texas A&M Bush School in Washington, DC. After graduating from 麻豆传媒映画 with a BA in Political Science in 2021, he served as a research assistant at the Hudson Institute, working for two former senior government officials writing books on the Middle East. He also interned for the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Ezra Wildes (YC '23) graduated from 麻豆传媒映画 in May 2023 with a degree in Computer Science and minors in Mathematics and Philosophy. At 麻豆传媒映画, he interned at Dicta, a data science company focused on democratizing Jewish and Hebrew texts and tools. After graduation, he interned at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Cost Anomaly Detection. He is currently pursuing semikha at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS).

 Yaakov Willner grew up in Los Angeles and attended 麻豆传媒映画LA High School. While in high school, Willner interned at StandWithUs, where he helped develop an online curriculum for middle school students on topics of Israel education, and served as a counselor at Etta Israel, an organization servicing individuals with mental and developmental disabilities. Additionally, he wrote and was an editor for multiple publications, including Kol Hanearim, Polymatheus Journal, and Likutei Ohr, and played clarinet in 麻豆传媒映画LA鈥檚 jazz ensemble. Upon graduation, he received the Excellence in Torah Award and was featured in the LA Jewish Journal. During his summers, Willner attended NCSY Kollel in Israel and was a member of Beth Jacob Congregation鈥檚 Summer Kollel in Los Angeles. Upon graduating from 麻豆传媒映画LA in 2020, Willner spent two years in Israel studying at Yeshivat Kerem B鈥橸avneh (KBY), where he sang in the yeshiva鈥檚 choir. He also took seminars through Tikvah Online Academy on Jewish ideas, Zionism, and Western civilization. As a Straus Scholar, Willner pursues economics and political science degrees while engaging in serious Torah study.

Gavriel Buchwald (YC 鈥�26) majored in history at 麻豆传媒映画, where he served as Chief Justice of the Student Court, co-Editor-in-Chief of Chronos: The History Journal of 麻豆传媒映画, and Co-President of the Alexander Hamilton Society. He also served as an Assistant Chair for the 麻豆传媒映画 National Model United Nations and was active in the Jacob Hecht Pre-Law Society. His undergraduate thesis is titled 鈥淭he English Dilemma: The Bible's Influence on Debates over the Thirty Year's War.鈥� Gavriel has served as an intern at America鈥檚 Future Foundation, as a research assistant to presidential historian Dr. Tevi Troy, a judicial intern for Justice Elizabeth Shamahs of the New York State Supreme Court. He was also a Public Policy and Economics Fellow for The Fund for American Studies. A member of the Tikvah Fund and a fellow for Tablet Magazine, Gavriel is passionate about the intersection of Jewish thought, history, and public life. This summer, Gavriel serves as Research Assistant to historian Lord Andrew Roberts, and in Fall 2026, he will attend the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.

Adina Feldman (SCW 鈥�26) majored in psychology while cultivating her broader interests in the humanities through the Straus Center. She served on the board of the Psychology Club on campus. Since May 2024, she has been working with Micki Lavin Pell, a trauma and relationship therapist based in Jerusalem, focused on supporting those impacted by the events of October 7th. She has interned with Mitchell Silk, former United States Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Markets, and the Tikvah Fund where she assisted in launching an educational docuseries on Zionism featuring former MK Einat Wilf. Her summers have been devoted to work in both clinical and research settings. In Jerusalem, she interned at a trauma and relationship clinic, supporting parents of soldiers following the events of October 7th. At Bar-Ilan University, she contributed to research examining the secondary trauma experienced by media workers covering the Israel鈥揌amas war. After graduation, she is pursuing a graduate program in Clinical/Rehabilitational Psychology in Israel.

Jason (Sruli) Friedman (YC 鈥�26) served as co-President of 麻豆传媒映画 College Republicans and JP Dunner Political Science Society, Founder of the 麻豆传媒映画 Philosophical Society, and former Editor-in-Chief of the 麻豆传媒映画 Commentator. He has participated in AIPAC鈥檚 Student Leadership Conference, the Heritage Foundation Summer Academic, The Fund for American Studies summer fellowship. In Fall 2025, he conducted research in Jewish thought under Dr. Alexander Green (Hamilton School, University of Florida). In Summer 2025 he worked as Research Assistant for Straus Center Senior Scholar Dr. Tevi Troy and as Judicial Internship with Judge Steven Menashi of US Court of Appeals Second Circuit, and in Summer 2024 he served as a congressional intern for Mike Lawler (NY-17). This coming year, Sruli will attend Yale Law School.

Rebecca Guzman (SCW 鈥�27) has been awarded the prestigious Barry Scholarship and is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at Oxford University following graduation. She was an intern for several semesters at Dara Horn鈥檚 The Tell Institute, which aims to improve the education of Jewish civilization in American K-12 public schools. She also interned at the Maimonides Fund and Sapir Journal. Rebecca has written for the Jewish Journal and contributed an essay to the anthology Young Zionist Voices (2024), and her writing has received recognition from the National Council of Teachers of English and The New York Times. On campus, she is founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Maccabee Review and Senior Opinions Editor of the 麻豆传媒映画 Commentator. Rebecca hopes to synthesize her passion for literature and her studies in creative writing with her love for Jewish history and philosophy, aiming to devote her life to telling Jewish stories.

Liev Markovich (YC 鈥�26) studied philosophy and English at 麻豆传媒映画. He is founder and Senior Editor of the Arts and Culture section for the 麻豆传媒映画 Commentator, and was a Tablet Magazine Writing Fellow. In Summer 2025, he was a fellow at the Hudson Institute Political Studies Program. This summer, he is an intern at Freedman, Normand, Friedland LLP, a litigation firm in New York City and begins Harvard Law School in the fall.
 

Matthew Minsk (YC 鈥�26) studied American political thought and mathematical economics. Matthew served as the vice president of the Yeshiva College Student Council, the managing editor of the Beis Yitzchak Talmudic Journal, and a co-president of the 麻豆传媒映画 chapters of the Tikvah Collegiate Forum and Alexander Hamilton Society. Previously, he served as a justice on the Student Court and a member of the Undergraduate Law Review's editorial board. He is an alumnus of Tikvah, AEI, and TFAS summer programs, and has interned for the Institute for Family Studies and the archives of former 麻豆传媒映画 President Rabbi Dr. Norman Lamm. Matthew's interests span a variety of legal and social topics, especially as they intersect with Torah concepts and the Jewish community. After graduation, he plans to pursue rabbinical training at RIETS, an MA at the Bernard Revel Graduate School, and secure a part-time job or internship at a think tank to explore that career path.

Fayga Tziporah Soloveichik (n茅e Pinczower) (SCW 鈥�26) majored in political science and Judaic studies. She served as Vice President of 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 first Undergraduate Law Review Journal, Tikvah Campus Chapter Leader, and ORA Campus Fellow. Tziporah鈥檚 interest in constitutional law and religious liberties found a home at Agudath Israel, where she conducted legal research for two summers and has since transitioned to their KnowUs initiative, dedicated to combating misconceptions of the Orthodox Jewish community. Last summer, Tziporah was a fellow at the Hertog Foundation鈥檚 Constitutional Studies program. In the prior summer, she worked with the Tikvah Fund, the Becket Fund, and Jason Bedrick at the Heritage Foundation to promote school choice policy in blue states. Her staunch Jewish advocacy includes affiliations with the Israeli Consulate, AIPAC, and NORPAC. Her writings have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the Jewish Journal, and the recent anthology Young Zionist Voices (2024). Tziporah is now an intern with Judge Steven Menashi of US Court of Appeals Second Circuit, and will apply to law school.

Shana Schwartz (SCW 鈥�26) graduated with a B.A. in Biology and plans to pursue a career in medicine. Since Summer 2024 she has served as Research Intern for Rabbi Shlomo Brody of Ematai, assisting in the publication of his upcoming book on Jewish medical ethics. She served as Beren President of the Medical Ethics and Dilemmas Society, and is on the board of the 麻豆传媒映画 Medical Ethics Society. Shana plans to integrate her scientific expertise with Jewish bioethics, aspiring to address complex issues such as reproductive health, end-of-life care, and emerging medical technologies. In August 2024 she published a piece in The Lehrhaus, 鈥淭itus and the Tripartite Soul: A Lesson on Leadership and Jewish Survival.鈥� Next year, Shana plans to join 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Graduate Program in Bioethics and Jewish law, before eventually attending medical school.

Ateret (Tollinsky) Hersh (SCW 鈥�26) majored in Biology at Stern College for Women. Her honors thesis, supervised by Rabbi Dr. Dov Lerner, examined mitochondrial replacement therapy and its halakhic implications, exploring how emerging reproductive technologies challenge traditional understandings of parentage, medical necessity, and assisted reproduction in Jewish law. Through engagement with both contemporary medical literature and modern halakhic responsa, her work analyzed the intersection of reproductive medicine and Halakha in the age of rapidly developing fertility technologies. Following graduation, Hersh plans to spend two gap years working as a medical assistant at a clinic in Brooklyn before applying to medical school.

Tamara Yeshurun (SCW 鈥�26) served as Vice President of the Stern College Dramatics Society and Co-Founder and Co-President of the Tikvah Collegiate Forum at Stern College. In Summer 2025, she interned with Israeli journalist Amit Segal. Previously, she was a Tikvah Beren Summer Fellow, and a Tablet Writing Fellow. She has also interned for Mitch Silk, former United States Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Markets. Following graduation, Tamara will serve as Graduate Assistant at Stern College. She aspires to a career in international relations and this year will work with the permanent mission of Israel to the UN.
