Dr. Pablo Roldan, an assistant professor of mathematics and an accomplished researcher in statistics and computer science, has been appointed director of the Katz School's M.S. in artificial intelligence program.

Dr. Marian Gidea will guide and evaluate research at the national level, be involved in various programs on promoting new directions in science, engineering and technology, and on influence STEM education at the undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral levels.

Two Katz School leaders, Dean Paul Russo and Sivan Tehila, shared their expertise and insights on the resilience to disinformation and talent development in cybersecurity at Cybertech NYC.

Tom Balga, a physician assistant for 22 years, is an experienced clinician in emergency medicine, pediatrics, sports medicine and surgery, as well as in developing and implementing simulation laboratories for emergency medicine clinicians.
